1. How much does it cost to be listed in the HTP directory?
This all depends on what you want. You can be listed for free as well. The information you want to display on your advert will decide the cost of your advert, please select the option to place an advert and then select the options that best meet your needs and budget, once you complete your listing you will see a total cost of the listing.
2. How long does it take to get listed?
Once you have completed and submitted your advert we will require up to 48 hours to review and approve your listing. If there are no problems then you should see your advert in the directory. Please remember that paid adverts need to be paid for in full before our evaluation can take place.
3. I have just noticed that I made a mistake on the information I have submitted on my advert, how can I change this?
Mistakes happen we are all human. Just send us an email with the correction and we will take care of it for you.
4. Can I use HTML code in my advert?
Yes you can just paste your HTML code into the text details section and you advert will be visible once it is paid for an approved by our staff. Please remember if you use images in your advert that are on other servers that you are responsible to make sure that the links are correct and that the images are available on the other server to display the advert we cannot control external content.
5. How long does an advert last?
All adverts last 370 days, you will receive an email 2 weeks before your advert expires allowing you enough time to renew your advert.
6. My advert was placed yesterday, why am I not listed first in the category?
The category is Alphabetical so your advert will be placed in an alphabetical order. We do offer the option to place your first in the category, please contact our sales staff for more details.
7. Why was my name changed?
Some people ad numbers or special characters in front of their names to assure that they get listed first in the category. This is not allowed; our staff will rectify the name for paid adverts and delete free adverts that have false characters in their names. If you feel that this is a mistake on our part then please contact us and provide us with proof that your business name actually includes these characters and we will rectify the problem.
8. My business has more than one category, how can I list my advert in more than one category?
This is possible but you will need to contact us to make this possible. You will need to prove that you are actually active in these categories. Clients who place the same advert in more than one category will receive a discounted rate for this, please contact our sales staff for more information.
9. Is there a way that I can see how many people have viewed my advert?
No. We have access to this information and we understand that many advertisers want to know if they are getting "hit" it is just not possible to show this information on the front end or create an access system for our clients at this moment. We will allow our clients to request this service once per advert per year. This will allow the clients to consider whether they will be renewing their advert each year.
10.I don't have the facilities to handle requests, can you offer me this service?
Yes we can. Depending on the services you require we will be able to facilitate your needs. Please contact our sales department to discuss your needs and the options available to you.
11. I can't find my category in the list, how can I create one?
If your category is not in our list please contact our sales staff and we will create the category for you.
